This consultation is for the Core Strategy Pre Publication Strategic Options document that East Staffordshire Borough Council has prepared. Following previous consultation on ‘Issues and Options’, the Council’s Core Strategy (Local Plan) has reached the next stage in its preparation. Based on input provided by stakeholders and communities at the earlier stages of the process, we have produced three Strategic Options for discussion. These are for the purpose of stimulating debate and the Council’s final strategy will reflect both the evidence and comments sent in, and may well be based around a combination of the options, or a new 4th option.
This Consultation on the Strategic Options stage starts on Wednesday 10th August and last until 21st September, and is an opportunity for everyone to put forward their preferences and ideas for how new development should be distributed in the Borough to best meet future needs.
